Reviews
Our dishes were simple but phenomenally enjoyable. We'll definitely be back to try more. The coffee was strong and rich.
All that was missing was some sun for our Sunday winter breakfast but they'd need to shift to the other side of the road for that!!
Went out for brunch on a weekday at this cozy cafe near Milson Point train station. Food is prepared fresh to order so could take up to 10-15mins even if the place wasn’t busy. Both the taco rice and eggplant katsu sando were delicious and well flavoured. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try Japanese infused brunch options.
The eggplant sando was very delicious. So was the mentaiko toast, simple but very well executed and balanced with the pickles. The matcha latte was alright, could be stronger. The pastry was good!
A must try! This is a place I will always go back. It’s nicely located next to Milsons Point station so perfect for the ones that love going to the bridge walk. It also a dog friendly restaurant which I absolutely love. Staffs were really friendly and the shop was full of retro vibes. The food was really nice and tasty. Would definitely recommend the onigiri set, its one of the best pickles I ever tried in Sydney and def tasted like home made pickle (nice and tender and not salty at all). The nori ben was also really good and the portion was good for the ones that’s looking for a feed. But will not recommend if you don’t like bones in the fish as there were tiny bones in the eel.
Great little cafe in the area, we had the cod roe melt (very cheese and yummy), mazesoba (balanced flavours, fatty pork), eggplant katsu sando (highlight of the day, great sauce) and nori bento (rice with fish 3 ways, a little fishy for me but delicious and fresh for others). We also had the sweet potato croissant which was amazing, and the Portuguese tart (deeeep pan, very creamy, a bit heavy for 2 probably better for 4)
The food is average. The matcha latte was so good but had to put 4 spoons of sugar to have good sweetness. Friendly customer service.
The udon pork was ok not the best. The eel rice soup was really good. The taco bowl was average. Surcharge 15% public holiday.
Cool Mac cafe is in such a nice little area. The coffee was great and I enjoyed my meal. It gets a bit busy over the weekend so it feels like you can't stay for long but at least it's a short walk to beautiful harbour views =)
A favourite of ours. Love the cod roe melt and basically all the noodles. Seasonal specials are always great, especially the winter items.
Always busy at lunch time so recommend going a little earlier to beat the rush. They’re also always open a few days over holiday break periods like Easter or Xmas so it’s always a great holiday option.
